Commander National Strategic Command (CNSC) General Syed Aamer Raza has warned adversaries against any hostile miscalculations, stating that any move against Pakistan would provoke a response "far beyond their imagination." Speaking at the passing-out parade of the 154th PMA Long Course and 39th Technical Graduate Course at Kakul on Saturday, the General emphasized that there is no space for war in a nuclearized environment.
Gen Raza addressed the challenges of modern warfare, noting that adversaries are increasingly utilizing disinformation and narrative warfare to create a divide between the public and the armed forces. He stated that following the failure of 'Operation Sindoor,' hostile elements have shifted toward proxy terrorism and sub-conventional warfare to target Pakistan's social cohesion and state infrastructure.
The General’s remarks follow recent provocative statements by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, which Pakistan has officially condemned. Gen Raza reiterated that while Pakistan remains a peace-loving nation prioritizing restraint and dialogue, this should not be misinterpreted as weakness. He stressed that the armed forces are prepared to defend the country's territorial integrity at any cost and will not tolerate cross-border aggression.
Regarding global affairs, the CNSC chief highlighted Pakistan’s strategic role in regional stability, citing the Islamabad Accord and Mecca Accord as milestones in diplomatic de-escalation. He also expressed unwavering support for the people of Palestine and Kashmir, condemning the systemic oppression in Gaza and reaffirming support for the Kashmiri struggle in accordance with UN resolutions.
In his address to the graduating cadets, Gen Raza urged the new officers to master disruptive technologies and adapt to the changing character of modern warfare. He highlighted that leadership and integrity are the decisive factors in military success. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards, where Academy Senior Under Officer Muhammad Junaid Jabbar received the Sword of Honour, and Battalion Senior Under Officer Syed Hassan Abbas was awarded the President's Gold Medal.
