The Supreme Court of Pakistan has scheduled the hearing for the bail petitions of rights activist Dr Mahrang Baloch, Beebo Baloch, and Beberg Baloch for October 21. The petitions are filed in connection with a terrorism case.
A three-member bench, headed by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, will preside over the proceedings. The bench also includes Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan. The apex court has already issued notices concerning the petitions.
Dr Mahrang Baloch has been in detention since March 2025 on various charges. Her legal representative, Imaan Mazari, is also currently detained along with her husband, facing multiple allegations including terrorism-related charges.
