Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher is visiting Pakistan from October 8 to 10 for discussions on peace, dialogue and interfaith understanding. The visit comes at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
The diplomatic engagement also marks 75 years of relations between Pakistan and the Holy See. Reported plans include meetings addressing bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues. Scheduled meetings should be distinguished from agreements or outcomes that have not yet been announced.
